Justin Timberlake opened up for the first time about facing his imperfect childhood when he became a father to son Silas, 22 months, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“You go through your life with your own traumas, big and small, and think, ‘It’s not that bad, I have a lot to be thankful for, my parents did the best they could,’” the Suit & Tie, 36, explained. “But then you have a child of your own, and suddenly it opens all the floodgates, and you’re like, ‘No, no, no! That childhood trauma really did f–k me up!'”
Although Timberlake did not mention specific traumas, it is widely known his parents divorced when he was in kindergarten.
