Details of Star Wars legend Carrie Fisher’s autopsy report have been revealed, including that Fisher had cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and other illegal drugs in her system when she became gravely ill on a December 23 flight from London.
Fisher’s heart had given out and, though she was resuscitated on the plane, she succumbed to her condition on December 27.
Fisher had been vocal about battling drug addiction, as well as a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. Her daughter, actress Billie Lourd, issued a statement saying, in part, “I know my Mom, she’d want her death to encourage people to be open about their struggles.”
